MY ILLUSTRATED DUTCH LIFE

This series of illustrations documents my Dutch life. When I recently moved to The Netherlands I undertook this challenge to document a day of my Dutch Life from morning to night. I often draw places I visit and travel to and places that I have lived. This is a part of an ongoing theme of exploring a sense of place and belonging in my artwork. Illustrations are drawn with archival black fineliner pen and coloured with watercolour paints.
